YES 3090 tie! lol. id love to be my hands on one of these bad boys. That is a beast of a card and they did right by the memory cooling, basically the entire card.

I’ve been water cooling my 3090 for a while. Best thing to do with a 3090 temps are good in my rig. I never understood why people complained about thermals just water cool your 3090s.
@TekShinji2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I think the 30 90 is basically a water-cooled card at this point. However, a lot of people just don't want to do it or don't want to spend an extra hundred to $500 just on cooling. For most people, the path of least resistance is the path they will ever take.

How can you water cool the memory chips in the back?
@taimur4452 жыл бұрын
How much does it cost to water cool, let's say 10 x 3090's. Planning to build a rig but can't afford the noise.
@TekShinji2 жыл бұрын
You water cool memory chips in the back with a active backplate.

That's not something I could just give you a round figure you'll have to research that yourself. I'm not trying to blow you off, but rather it's like asking how much does a house cost? And it's such a general question. It's not easy to answer. (Probably as much as a down payment on a house though)

funny how it's actually a 12-pin...
@TekShinji2 жыл бұрын
Upon closer inspection, yes it is a 12-pin. At least the power cable that is the squid. On the card itself, there's an additional four pins on the side that are supposedly sense pins. We talk about in our podcast. Those are currently not being used and will be used in the future to allow it to 600 Watts

Love mine! Best decision I ever made with a pc build haha. I'm not joking, stability is just next level good. The cooling omg didnt expect intenral temps to the so ggood. Its just so consistent. Forget the boost fps boost its just consistently so good! Lol

Isn't it amazing how cool it runs when they put all the memory chips on one side the side with a giant cooler?
@blackmennewstyle2 жыл бұрын
My only issue with the power cable being at the back, is the potential fire hazard if your PC case is not long enough for that GPU, the power cables could be dangerously too close to your PC front fans :$ Happy midweek guys

I suppose you be kind of limited in case size if that was the case. Technically the cable is designed and engineered to handle the wattage. But yeah it can get caught in something

*I’ve been sub for almost a year* and Every time I watch one of your podcast (and other videos) it’s always just you talking and talking endlessly while your 2 friend just sit there doing nothing, that’s so awkward, not bashing on your content just saying it’s not much of a discussion. Scrub anywhere in the timeline and you’ll see what I mean.

Very true. It's a different type of content and it's not for everyone. However, we do have release videos about once a month or so at least after we're done moving. We're in the process of transitioning at the moment

If you prefer not to watch the podcast or clips, you can always tell because it will say it's a podcast or TTP in the title
