Yea only 3 or 4 seconds a lap between MD and 2nd and 3rd, but 15 seconds a lap to the few riders after that like DaveyTodd, still incredible over 37.73 miles. I recall Hizzy times one year, over 240 miles in the F1 and senior race his overall time was 5 seconds difference, that's consistent riding.

Superb performance by Michael Dunlop and as they said, using lines which would've been not great in terms of where rubber had been laid. How close was Dean and Peter, jeez. After all those miles on different bikes to be that close on time doesn't seem possible. They really don't hold back anymore do they. 😨☺

The riders throughout time have never held back at anytime, the bikes though have steadily got faster and more reliable that's all.

@@1969JohnnyM They used to ease in the first lap then build with speed and time as the race went on. Now it is completely flat out from the start, you have to to get the time. It's all go from the off, no worrying if the wheels or brakes are good, pure confidence in the team and pit crew.

F***ing hell... I kept hearing clanking the whole time and thought someone is going have a mechanical. Only later did I realise that it was just the sound of the bolas gigantes slapping the bike frame as they weave through the track at speeds I wouldn't do in a 4 wheel cage

I said it before - I have been riding for over 50 years, all sorts of trail, adventure and high powered road bikes, I love watching Moto GP and Superbikes but NOTHING. compares to the thrill of TT and the incredible skill and courage of these amazing riders.
