Tom, you have got a substantial DC offset on the current measurement, messing up the comnplete power computation. When working on full-wave AC circuits, selecting the input of the scope to be AC coupled may be beneficial. If there actually is a DC component present at the signals, make sure that both channels are properly zeroed in before starting the measurement. Especially those clamp-on current probes are prone to high DC offsets that may drift considerably during warm-up. Otherwise, thanks so much for this nice presentation of the MSO5k's features!

No offense brother but you have all this nice gear only to buy that atorch (aptly named) when you have two sets of micsig probes and an 8gsa rigol mso

I've been meaning to sort out what this bundled option brings to the table. Excellent overview. Again.

Micsig. Yet he has a load bought from ali express. I never understand the point of this guy's experiments. I'm not knocking the guy at all. That scope and probes in Canada would cost over 2500 dollars. I don't have gear envy. I have a decent set up. Haha
