Kinda seems like Rachelle got off too easy with deliberately delaying a train, and causing James to damage himself. Everyone just overlooked what she did, and acts as if it's no big deal? Plus, with everyone jumping on the "Let's All Put Down James", it just seems like he's unfairly been made the punching bag of the railway

I know that Rachel hasn't been punished for her actions in this episode, but who says she'll get off scot-free in the NEXT episode? This is not where her story arc ends. Also, there's a reason the engines seem to jump on "let's put down James" bandwagon. They're not putting him down for no reason; they're calling him out for making her feel unwelcome and insulting her for being red. The episode has made that clear at the beginning. It's also the whole reason Rachel played that trick on James. If that reason didn't exist (we would never just have the characters bully each other for no reason), then you would have a point. I hope that clears things up for you. -Scott

Rachelle is a beautiful engine .It seems that James would be flattered that someone had the same color. The island surely would be big enough for 100 red engines I LIKE RED. I like the episode but not the ending, James is not the one in the wrong here, he got forced to pull a train all by himself which was past his capabilies and he breaks himself and is mocked when he's taken to the works. It all feels wrong, Rachelle should be the one in the wrong and scolded.

Actually, James WAS in the wrong too. He couldn't accept the fact that another big red engine (which is Rachel) would be working on the island, and was rude to her. In short, BOTH engines are to blame. As for Rachel not getting punished, keep your eye on the next episode to see what happens.

While James certainly didn't deserve to have his safety valve burst, it certainly was delicious to see him get the "child in a mask" treatment. Wonder where you found that music piece from "Donald and Douglas"? You know, the part when the Spiteful Brake Van is smashed into bits. Worked well as James struggled up the hill again. In the canon he is yes! Winston was a mixed traffic engine like Edward as briefly stated by Wilbert Awdrey and I believe he was the engine that tried to push Henry out of the tunnel. Between the events of The Three Railway Engines and Thomas the Tank Engine some events happened. The two blue engines were sent away for there continued rudeness towards Edward apparently as Gordon and Henry were the only two to respect him. Winston was open to interpretation but Wilbert had him replaced by a specific locomotive model who was introduced as James in the final story of RWS No 2. So some reckon Winston was sold, some say scrapped and there were even one or a few about him being destroyed on Britain while serving in the War. Others just don't include him as a character in their canon.
