I’m surprised so few people saw this video .IT IS SO GOOD! It seems that 100,000 views would have happened . I HAVE WATCHED IT DOZENS OF TIMES AND I WANT MORE! I’d love to hear Remembrance talk about her young days on the Southern when she was a tank engine . You already have all of the Baltic tanks represented and they are all fabulous!!! I’d love to see more of all of them. I can imagine Beattie as a girl Remembrance’s sister and the other ones brothers . I can see them all with distinct personalities .AND I can imagine all of them going to Valleyfield in 1950’s except for the one that was scrapped after being wrecked .I’d love to see a memorial set up in VCR for that engine and all the other engines sharing happy memories about him. Beattie sound’s a lot like Betty .I’d love to see Remembrance with a sister she was as close to as Donald is to Douglas .Both having great sense of humor . I loved the compassion Stephenson showed when Remembrance was abandoned for rough riding .He obviously loved his sister all along . What happened to Stephenson to make him become pessimistic . How do you see him in your mind ? I really like Stephenson. Did you get my drawings in the mail? Do you like them? May making choo choo videos continue to be fun for you . I’m glad that all the Baltic’s later N15X’s are presented as like family .Very heartwarming . Your stories are much better than most on PBS.Wish you could be a paid screenwriter producing choo choo videos .

Great story . I’ll watch it a lot .I liked seeing all of the Former tank engines . Can you write some stories about them all when they were still tank engines or imply that all 7 survived and went to Valleyfield .Can you reuse Remembrance’s shape and simply use the other numbers and different colors . I can imagine Beattie as a girl.and the others boys.I’m so glad you came up with the Valleyfield central and hopefully if island big that there could be some new places to go and we could run into Stroudley and the others .Wasnt there one named Hacksworth. I know they were named after Designers. .That was high praise for the designers .To have choo choos named after them. What a great New Year’s treat!!!

You could say that after a engine's rebuild the crew become traitors because they are already used to something earlier . Like Stephenson say in one video, one of this days the engines will have something to complain about.
@barbaramoran86904 жыл бұрын
They expected the N15X to be like the King Arthur class because they almost looked the same . The rough riding was unexpected BUT the 7 engines did fine on the other trains that did’nt have to go as fast and they remained in service for about 20 years . All conversions done around 1936 and withdrawal didn’t happen until 1955 . I can imagine all 6 surviving engines going to Valleyfield central . Except for Trevithick who was in a wreck in 1955. I can imagine that most King Arthur class was sold too island railroads too . Several islands near Sodor which remained independent and kept steam . Actually many diesels were poorly designed and didn’t run nearly as well as the choo choos . Diesels made trains boring and without a fireman OR anthropomorphic engine it makes sense why they call train whistles “lonesome “ because the driver is all by himself.

@Ryan Eltabba rule 55 was passed "following a spate of accidents caused by the signalman forgetting that trains were standing on a running line, sometimes within sight of their signalbox" and "required that, if a train was brought to a stand at a signal, within three minutes in clear weather or immediately in rain, snow, or fog, the driver of the train must despatch his fireman, guard, or any shunter riding on the train, to the signal box to ensure that the signalman was aware of the presence of the train, and that all safeguards to protect it, such as slides or collars on the signal levers, were in place, the crewman then signing the train register to confirm this." Question: ¿Did the King Arthurs class engines toke over the express trains after Remembrace and his Brother's rebuilds?
@barbaramoran86904 жыл бұрын
King Arthurs were already on express trains first built in 1920’s and they were building more in 1930’s . BUT there was still a good use for the N15X class . They were just more tricky to drive . They were perfect for the trains they were eventually used on. AND LASTED INTO mid 1950’s and were not withdrawn until King Arthurs were phased out too because of the stupid diesels .
@-LLAMA-3 жыл бұрын
What I don’t understand is why they used the N15X class engines as the bases for new King Arthur class engines. Shouldn’t they have just built more of them from Scratch instead of rebuilding such beautiful and elegant engines? They looked much better when they were tank engines.

Annie C is such a great voice for Remembrance .Glad you could keep using her voice .It is so cute .TELL HER THANK YOU FOR ME .I have watched this video several times. It is my newest FAVORITE. Remembrance is so beautiful. I can imagine all of the N15X’s being sold to the Valleyfield because you said the island was big. In 1948 at the time of the merger, LMS actually had about 6000 locomotives in inventory although they may have not all been in use. You could use Stephenson’s image for the boy choo choos and different colors and Remembrance ‘s look for Beattie and make her red . At a station there could be a memorial portrait of Trevithick , the engine that had to be put down. I liked the way you showed generic engines nearby who looked like real engines.Unless they have actual character roles with a lot of script they don’t need the cartoon faces.Even without a cartoon face an engine could interact with the others in a supporting role . The typical engine face painted black is still a face . I have seen many pictures of real engines including the real Remembrance and she’s knockout gorgeous .Thank you for embellishing the image .I hope you can earn a living producing cartoon videos. YOU HAVE TALANT and nothing on PBS compares. I’ll bet you’d love that job.considering so far you have just done it for fun. I’m looking forward to your future stories.

Remembrance was a cute tank engine .Have you ever thought what her life would have been back then. Do you have any software showing the Southern Railway in the 1920’s .It was a long time between 1923 and 1936 when engines were converted..What if Remembrance and Beattie were borrowed by Sodor in 1920’s Rodrick seemed to be another Gresley A1 and he would have needed a replacement when he got the boot and also Alfred.. Maybe Remembrance could come to Sodor and Beattie both girls and Rachelle stay until another Gresley A1 came. Is there a model for Flying Thistle .He could have been briefly used by LNER until more of their engines were built (on lease )and then a name could be made up for another A1 Gresley type who would replace Rachelle and she would go to Valleyfield .Implied they had bought several Raven A2’s and they had decided to standardize A2’s and the Gresley engine they tried out was sold to Sodor .Engines swapped. Maybe the Gresley engine could be called Galen. He would have better manners and not be as stuck up as Gordon. I hope that you really enjoy making these videos .Yours are among the BEST .Better than MOST of the stories Wilburt Awdry wrote . Is there any way you could ever show an engine getting a washout. They could spray water into the plug openings on the sides of firebox near the top .Washouts last about an hour and I can imagine Stephenson crying a lot and his worst bitching during a washout. What a hoot .You could show him getting washout while he was still on Southern. IF MY IDEAS HAVE NO APPEAL PLEASE IGNORE THEM. I’m sure you already have some great stories ready to produce.like Remembrance laughing at Bill and Ben getting washouts.. Have you seen Wash Up and Brush Up.which shows a young standard 5 getting a washout . You’ll notice when his face shows earlier in video that he isn’t smiling and anticipating the washout makes him grumpy. The look on his face is priceless just as they are about to open the joke box door to do his checkup . When you see flue cleaning and washout you’ll know why 73020 was pouting.Face doesn’t show during procedures but I’m sure that the engine cried. All parts needed for seeing breathing and eating swing to side with smokebox door and engine can stay conscious .Unless he is put to sleep for maintenance .

Remembrance’s siblings are great tank engines .Would love to hear a story about the engines when they were young and still tank engines . All 7 of them are so cute.Maybe you could use some “generic engines as well.I noticed the King Arthur engine and the brown tank engine both with the typical black faces .there are other stories which use engines that are like real ones as characters and they don’t have “cartoon faces and don’t need them.The dark railway series uses engines that look like real ones ,I din’t recommend that anyone watch the series because it is full of vulgar behavior and foul language . Yours is so much nicer because you have a “clean” script . This video is so good and the engines are beautiful. I really like the generic engines passing by or in background .Some of that type could be used on the island Remembrance comes from Valleyfield railway .I can imagine the Valleyfield as having lots of choo choos and standard models of all shapes and sizes could be seen at stations in sheds and passing by with the typical black faces.just to imply a fabulous steam fleet.There are basic models which show the engine numbers and if the number shows it could be matched with a name and the engines could talk.They don’t all need special faces.All choo choos have faces but not like the cartoon faces.I have pictures of real choo choos and they look as human to me as the characters . I hope you have as much fun making videos as I have watching them.Did you get the drawings I sent .I hope you liked them. Thank you for making choo choo videos You are very talented and educated ! .

Great to see a video of Thomas and Remembrance on the Southern. I like to think of Thomas being built in 1922 as an optional engine with 2 others an improved version of E 2X . Sodor leasing 3 of the originals for 3 years and Thomas and 2 others used 1922 -1925 . Then Southern decided not to build any more Thomas type and simply took back leased engines . Actually the Thomas type built for Sodor but the leasing was done to save money..That’s why Southern used them 3 years and Sodor borrowed the others.

I’d love to see all 6 N15X’s alive and well on the Valleyfield .Their island is huge .They would need thousands of steam engines . When BR dumped so many engines ( a lot of them young ) It was bargain hunting time and The railroad could get a huge fleet of choo choos between 1952 and 1968. REALIZING WHAT THEY WERE WORTH! What's rule 55 ?
@Jetthehawk19944 жыл бұрын
Rule 55 was a law on British rail lines in the 19th and 20th centuries. It basically states that if a train is held on the main line for more than 3 minutes, the driver must alert the signalman so they can set the signals and switches away from the obstruction. It was because this rule was neglected during production of Henry's Forest in series 3 that the Rev. W. Awdry stopped assisting in the production. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rule_55
