I was ghosted once and it was from a girl I was intimate with. Well, kind of ghosted. She answered me and said she wanted to hang and we'd make plans but then either something would come up or she wasn't reaching out to me. I then saw her at a party a day we were supposed to hang out and I found out later that one of my so called friends was a bit of a hater and has been trying to get with her. She either ditched me for him, was waiting for him, he pressed her and she got caught having options, or whatever else. I didn't stick around to find out. Ever since then, I never allowed myself to be put in that position again. This was when I was around 21. I quickly discovered having as many options as possible and always being busy was the best medicine. If you're always unavailable, you don't have to play games and you don't have time to worry about who is calling you back. When I first started dating who is now my wife, I almost drove away because she made me wait outside for 10 minutes as she was getting ready. I literally started driving and she called me. At the time, I couldn't give two shits what happened so when she apologized and asked if I was really going to leave I told her "Yeah. You're swimming with a shark". Glad she wasn't 15 minutes late instead of 10 because she's a great mom and housewife.

The book just came in two days ago and I am about to reread it already. I certainly place myself as a 3-4/10 currently with very high potential as I am making the cuts and taking the risks needed gradually to produce the best version of me in the coming years. With that said, the blue lens that has been held in front of my eyes for so long has begun to shatter and now is turning red as I begin to truly open my eyes to the world around me. Your book has shown me how pathetic I have made my life to be, it is disgusting yet exciting because I am now hitting full throttle on my physique, my mental well being (even more so than before) and just overall not wasting my time on the pointless cycles that loop people through societies standards and ideologies. I was adopted at a young age, never met my biological father and honestly probably won't ever. My adoptive father though,he got played and rolled over like a beta bitch while my adoptive mother fucked the other beta abusive shithead that was welcomed into the family. These lessons I've since become aware of through your words are sticking and melding into what has been a void space, being that I've had to unlearn the unhealthy beta tactics and lifestyle from those around me. If I had not started this process mentally a year ago it would be another year that I'd be taking to make the switch while also taking in what I am now from this book. It's by no coincidence this is formulating the way it is, you've given me the perspective I've sought for so long. I intend to use it in its fullest, through trial and error. What a bitch I was, what a man I am becoming.

Mason does need to understand the laws in his state, I agree. In CA, he would not need to pay for any of the 3 kids that are not his. Depending on their incomes, if his is higher, he would need to pay child support for their child, and spousal for half the time they were married. If their incomes are equal, he wouldn't have to pay much. If she is a stay at home mom, he will have to expect to have to pay much more. Again, in CA, this is a very serious issue legally. The Disomaster (sp?) is a computer program that Mason could purchase to find out exact payments, as long as they both have traceable incomes. It would be better for him to go thru court approved mediation, rather than utilize lawyers, which can be very expensive. Most people (90%) do not use lawyers to divorce in the states. The people that do are wealthy, and have complex financial profiles. Mason looks young, so I doubt this would be the case. Imo, Mason needs to know his legal rights / financial picture in his particular state. Emotionally, to stay on with someone he isn't happy with, basically to save $, is pretty depressing, especially at such a young age. After he has some financial answers, then he has some soul searching to do, as to whether or not to stay. Very important for this guy to establish 50/50 joint physical custody from day one. Do NOT get lulled into letting her have any more than that. It is very hard to claw that time back and also she will be disincentivized to do so. The more time she has with your kids (thus the less time YOU have), the more YOU pay her in child support. I am 5'4" and my ex husband was 5'8." Guys who are an average height, bulk up easier than a tall lanky guy, which can actually be a plus- Don't beat yourself up about your body type, just make sure you're healthy- Back in the day, as a kid, I loved D&D!
