Except...Dan Marino could beat good defenses. How many years in now with Tua? Instead of praising Tua for his ability to pad stats against bad teams, so much of it via lateral passes, maybe ask for a championship. Beating the Texans this weekend, a team with a winning record, might help create some faith in the fans. But I suspect that they will lose, thus continuing what most of us came to appreciate late last year.

This year teams don't want to get beat deep so they adapt. Did you just start watching football this year? '22 Dolphins and Tua beat the Ravens IN Baltimore and Tua tied Marinos single game TD record of 6 while also throwing well over 400 yards. They also beat the Bills in '22. Tua's "dominance" is based primarily on lateral tosses to players who run and deliver Tua his yards. He isn't throwing downfield like he did last year, because Hill and Waddle aren't being allowed the luxury of running to the ball in open space. Notice, that Tua's overtime drive came with two lateral passes so that the TE could do the work down the field. And Tua's stats go up. What good is an elite QB who can't beat good defenses? You people treat Tua as if he is Tyson, who is presented as the greatest fighter that ever lived, because he beat up your fat, lazy neighbor. They will lose on Sunday against the Texans, because Tua has proven for a few years now that he cannot defeat good defenses.
