As to the big touchdown play at 7:17, tyreek has actually said he ran the wrong route. It was on X. He then said Tua specifically saw it and adjusted the throw to where tyreek would have a shot at it. Specifically the quote "I ran my route wrong Tua threw that ball exactly where I was suppose to be. He noticed my angle put enough air time on it just to give me time to adjust"

I believe it was the right route, but he ran it wrong. Tua said that when that route is called he's suppose to run it to the edge of the numbers not inside the numbers. That's why he threw it out there. But he did put enough air on it to give him time to adjust. Either way those 2 are elite when they on the same page and still VERY good when they aren't lol

Tua is supposed to drop it on the outside edge of the numbers and he did. It was really that simple. He was throwing to a spot and Tyreek didn’t run to the right spot. Tua also explained this.

Mike McDaniel also said this in the post game press conference, and he said that during the week they talked about that play if they got the right defensive look. He said Tua saw it and checked into the play at the line of scrimmage.

Great breakdown. It seems like on the plays you chose, there were multiple players open for Tua to throw to. On the last one, 4 of 5 receivers were open. What a luxury to have. Coach Mike’s really is a savant with his schemes. These games are good reps for when they play their last 3 big games. Hopefully they have great success.

However, my takeaway from your analysis on the dolphins is that Tua is playing with unbelievable anticipation this year that enables the big plays from tyreek. As awesome as Tyreek is, someone's got to throw him the ball. If Mike White plays the rest of the season and Tyreek makes his 2000, then I'd call him the MVP. The guy throwing the ball is somewhat more important than the guy catching the ball. It would probably be more appropriate if they were BOTH named MVP. Because on the other hand, if Tyreek wasn't there would there be others who could keep the Dolphins winning?

QB has a harder job getting the ball to the WR. There’s a few WRs that get open regularly that don’t get the ball. Tua benefits from Tyreek and vice versa but Tuas job is a lot harder.

That 1st TD, Tua & Reek talked abiut Tua and him having a signal after they both seen the coverage. If look at Achane at the opposite side, they motioned him to the far side and a LB manned up on him, thats why the safety shaded that side, yet he too was wide open. And if you seem Hardknocks last night you can see Miami working on that play & hitting Achane deep because they too couldn't believe that they would leave Reek 1 on 1. Lol

Tuas taught to slide over to buy enough time to get the ball off, he’s done it on 3 other deep TDs he’s thrown, the most notable one being in the comeback win in BAL. It’s specifically used to get him enough time to hit the deep ball when he knows his protection is at a disadvantage on one side. He’s been pretty accurate throwing off the slide over even with the poor footwork on the throw.

@@TheQBSchool I think he's referring to noted clown Steven Ruiz who I believe has never played or coached at the college level or above, but fancies himself and authority on QB play. He doesn't seem to have any qualifications or ability to scout the position himself, and jumbles up a bunch of shit that he doesn't understand to trying to sound smart. A good example of this is him calling Patrick Mahomes a bad pick by the Chiefs because of his "poor mechanics."

@@TheQBSchool Yeah that phrase "worst word of the year" came from some PFF guy and Ruiz agreed with him. My issue with Ruiz is he is on some pretty reputable podcasts (The Mina Kimes Show and others) and seems to be growing his brand by doing this. I don't know if he should keep getting these platforms to speak when he still believes anticipation is "a guessing game." I just didn't know if you saw the tweet and wanted to get your opinion on it, as it feels like a foolish thing to think about quarterback play

The second play. The angle route to Waddle, i think he put on his back hip to slow Waddle down on purpose, instead if running him full speed into the hit from that safety or the linebacker if he somehow managed to cover that kind of ground and Waddle shook the safety.. That play to Tyreek was 100% on Tyreek, it was even on the last hard knocks episode with them still on the sideline and Wes Welker, Tua and Tyreek all looking at it on their tablets, and talking about it. Tua was throwing to the mark away from the safety, and Hill didnt notice the safety and was running his route as if they weren't there.

@@danielmuscarella5040 a lot! He leads the league in average AIR YARDS per throw!! That’s not YAC, that’s how many air yards per throw! You don’t watch every game I can tell. Tua has just as incredible of talent around him, never bothers me because I know Tua’s good. Rodgers, Mahomes, Manning, Montana, young all had crazy talented teams around them. I have zero problem with that because you have to have an amazing QB to get the ball out to them on time and accurate. The hypocrisy is deafening though! So you disregard avg. Air yards, avg yards per attempt, highest completion percentage and highest QB ratings?!? All the while creaming all over because Tua throws deep to the best WR in the league? C’mon man!! Call it like it is. Purdy just played his 17th game, how many games has Tua Played? Purdy is nothing short of Meteoric. All great QBs have amazing talent around them but it’s always what is supposedly used to discount Purdy.
