This story is so sad. Your sister was such a strong woman. Sometimes, being strong may appear weak to everyone. To all who is here judging her, it’s always easier said than done. What she chose to do and endure was for her to decide and in the end, she taught him a lesson that he can never go back and undo. I know she’s somewhere living the life she was meant to live. This story touches my heart because I know, that if one day, I should go before my husband, he’ll feel the same way your brother in law feels. What makes me saddest is that is all I wanted while I was alive.

I don’t agree with the cousins and the husband said about your sister at all. I applaud your sister for being a strong woman and a strong mother to her children. This is so sad. My sister’s life is like your sister’s except my bil used all his time for community services (Hmong funerals, weddings, drinking with his buddies) and never time with her.
