Also, I really like this new presentation format you’ve been using to demonstrate your points about the map before the analysis of your specific match because it helps to illustrate the point while keeping the actual game a surprise

1:15 - One minute increment will always be insane to me. At that point, even a slowdown of the site can throw the game for you.

1:11:12 "Elagatua is eliminated." "The game is over! Elagatua is the winner!" I never noticed that but has that always been there on the Replay Viewer Software? The strategy was so smooth, really satisfying to watch the missile usage, transport synergy and pivoting around the middle.

Wow, I didn't expect to be shown the game where I played as VB lol. I feel a bit embarrassed but it's a great learning experience.

i actually try to look at any existing games played on a map just to get a basic idea of the front dynamics before i start planning my own stuff

So, Elagatua goes for really greedy start, which leads to not being able to purchase a tank as the first vehicle. He rather buys artillery, but no matter, he already has plans for it to fit well into this opening and defend the city that the greed had won for him. The artillery has a massive impact. Meanwhile, Rimer goes for the artillery as his first vehicle, probably because artilleries are good to soften up Kindle vehicles on cities, also when they get hit, but not destroyed, Andy's SCOP still makes them a threat. It's a good vehicle to build, but it doesn't seem to have a particullary well-thought role in Rimer's opening. The artillery has zero impact, it gets it's first shot off on the very last turn. It basically just slowed Rimer down. Rimer is an amazing player, it was I believe Mangs' pick for the ultimate winner, and it was so for a reason. But this is a power of preparation - I can't imagine how much time it takes to prepare such an flawless opening, and it was impossible to comprehend when I saw the match live, but seeing this analysis, it's insane how everything clicks together. Well done.

@@eduardrindt3376 i probably spent 2 or 3 hours preparing this opening, so maybe not as long as you’d expect?

The more I watch Elagatua break down his understanding of the game, the less I think I know.
