[Tub] 2-Man Dagda |

[Tub] is happy to present our latest project, Duo Dagda.
The idea came from Senapi, and we theorycrafted using different builds, but eventually settled on Power Quickness Herald as the DPS role and Hybrid Druid as the hybrid healer.
Since Dagda doesn't boonrip at the start, we prestacked boons so we didn't have to worry about boon downtime at all. We also just healed through every green arrow and CC bar (we literally couldn't break the bar). The main strategy for the fight was to take advantage of the fact that Dagda will target the closest entity, not player. Using this knowledge we managed to bounce the tank between the Herald, Druid, and most importantly, the Lynx. Lynx was vital to the success of the fight, as it could tank the bosses attacks with its massive HP pool and also eat a lot of projectiles during the spin attack. Other pets we tried were a lot more troublesome. We tried many runs with Jacaranda for the extra damage on the druid with Blood Moon, however it stayed at max melee range making tank bouncing very unpredictable without moving fully out of melee range as the Herald.
To talk a bit more about the specific builds and roles for each player:
Herald - Focus on damage and taking the tank after she ports away to spin. The lynx would follow her and eat projectiles, meaning it wouldn't be in range to tank when she ported back. Since druid heals others more than it heals itself due to outgoing healing modifiers, and the Herald has access to Facet of Light, It makes it the optimal backup tank since it can very easily tank 2 auto chains from Dagda. The Herald also provided a lot of boons, meaning the druid had to devote less utility slots to boon support skills and could focus even more on damage.
Druid - Healer and Mechanics with a side of DPS. By having the pet tank, it freed up the druid to take a lot more damage-oriented skills and stats, which drastically lowered the kill time by over 5 minutes. Since it still didn't do as much as the Herald, the Druid also focused on handling the Soul Feasts.
If you managed to watch the full video I would like to thank you, this was absurdly long. Seriously Anet, 59 Million HP? Is this some new golem? Who was complaining that 40 Million wasn't enough to practice on? Is there anyone who actually completes a 40 Million golem?
