This product actually works very well! It’s all about the prep. I did my tub. This product is not for kitchen sinks though. I used this on my kitchen sink and after about a year it started chipping from getting dinged and scratched.

Homax Tough as Tile, like all similar products for tub refinishing, doesn’t last very long. They all flake off after a few months of use. The product doesn’t adhere well to the old tub surface and not pliable enough for bathtub.

Hey there. Wondering if this can Be used to spot glaze a tub. My landlord was nice enough to get our tub professionally deglazed last year. We were very careful to stay out of the tub for the recommended time. It looked so good. But after 3 months it started chipping around the drain (revealing the old ugly tub underneath). I contacted the landlord to see if the company guaranteed their work. They did…for 90 days! So now we are left with a 95% good looking tub with 5% chipping. Can I treat just the one spot (about 3-4” across)?
@robertmichalscheck30722 жыл бұрын
No experience or expertise here,but I’m guessing you could remove the drain plug,they make a tool for that,sand around that area and repaint around that area?just a suggestion,and of course clean area well prior to painting.
