Custom subtitles /are/ a thing, and yes, they are really cool. SAD-ist isn't the one who made those subtitles, the person who did is credited in the description, and I'm pretty sure they made tutorials on how to make them. It's actually quite simple, just time consuming. I'm sure you could contact them or someone else to add them to your videos :°

I had such a huge grin watching this, and I was expecting to tear as the Techno parts would come up, but I didn't. The emotion of sadness has given way to acceptance now, and now, I remember all the good memories. His intense roleplaying, his over the top eloquent speeches, and his effortless humour. It sucks that he's gone, but he's in a better place now. And, most of all, he's the reason why SAD-IST could create the masterpiece that is "Hog Hunt"

I’ve been feeling nostalgic and rewatched a ton of different (Sad-ist and not) animatics recently because of the finale’s. The Dream Smp has meant so much to me and it holds such a special place in my heart. In February of 2021 I learned what it was through TikTok and watched these Sad-ist animatics despite not knowing a thing about the characters or story. I pieced things together, read the story on Wikipedia, and watched Evan McGamings videos (he was a lifesaver). The rest is history. I love the fan art, the animatics, the streamers. I remember watching Wilbur’s revival stream, Techno’s lore streams, and the Las Nevadas streams. My little sister got into it with me as well. This fandom is so talented. Despite its issues and some cringe fans (which every fan base has some of), it’s been one of the most incredible and unique experiences of my life. I’m so proud to have been around for this story and grow to love these characters. I’m so excited for Season 2! ❤ Edit: In the replies I’m going to recommend different animatics from other artists I’ve loved while being in this fandom for anyone interested :)

Hahahaha i love that I’m watching that video on November 15th 2023 by pure happenstance. For context I’ve only got into dsmp a couple weeks ago, watching a 5 hours summary after switching from playing creative only (for 3 years - it was one of my new quarantine hobbies lol) to survival and finally understanding what the hell smp means and finally caving in to curiosity. I am now working hard to watch all the vods (as i play my survival world) so i had no idea the destruction of L’Manberg happened the 16th even tho i watched the animation already and knew what it was about.
