dropsy isnt really a condition itself, its a result of their internal organs starting to fail from another issue (bacterial, fungal, etc). It's a visible symptom of an underlying condition

Hello from Japan! I also have a dropsy goldfish. When you have a lot of goldfish, some fish suddenly become DROPSY or suffer from DROPSY in stages. Try giving him bloodworms. They’re high in protein and I think they should help. They did help when my fish was sick. Also try to put Indian almond leaves in his tank. They also helped my fish when he was sick.

What helps me with dropsy and any sort of weird ailments or illnesses that my fish can get what prevents all of that when I put one tablespoon of salt and epsom salt in 100 gallons it's low enough but it also is there so it helps them in a very microscopic sense to build up their slime coat and adds electrolytes to the water so they are healthier and it helps them with their muscles with the Epsom salt

Luke, if you're reading this: I just wanted to point out that 50% off might seem like you're giving your customers a great deal, but many business people advise against giving such deep discounts. You're more likely to get one-time buyers and less likely to get loyal customers. 15% off is fair.

I mean... on one hand, I am a habitual known sucker for these deep discount type promotions, along with free promotional samples. and I do rebuy those products less frequently than I do a steadily cheaper option. BUT... I've also found the few higher priced brands that I WILL dish out for regularly through these things. the combination of goodwill worth more than money and getting to try the quality of something that would have felt out of my league to take a chance on at its regular full price. so many fake reviews out there anymore, so many overrated products imo that people run with enthusiastically just to feel like they're part of a prestige brand. and pet food in general has this problem deeply, between people not understanding what ingredients are actually high quality and even our scientific understanding of pet nutrition evolving rapidly in a short time. I mean, cat and dog kibble was a mainstay for decades, coming out of using meat factory waste in a shelf stable way back during the wars, but we're finding out even with the recommended nutrient minimums added to those that they're about the same as feeding your pet sugary breakfast cereal or McDonald's as their main diet. smaller brands originating from hobbyists who found something that they trialed out for thriving instead of surviving seems to be the best bet a lot of times from my experience, and if food making sure it serves my purposes too (and if food, that my pets aren't too picky to convert) might be a corner market where it could make some sense. I get that this is ALL anecdotal and you didn't ask for a TEDTalk of a reply from a random, it's just a topic I've put a lot of thought into in the past and my only real hope is to encourage people to say least give these things a spin.
