@@Pksparty2112 yes, the new Line will eventually be an entire system. Next up will be the Universal 6or12SL7 Kit Phono Preamp and then an OTL Headphone Amp, then Mono Blocks.

@@m4ril4r4njinh4 yes you can, in fact my very first prototype phono preamps were point to point wired. But they are a bear to wire up (even if you are experienced) and will have a higher noise floor compared to a high quality, well designed PCB. That's why our Universal 6or12SL7 Kit Phono Preamp uses PCB's for most of the circuit wiring and our New Modern Line version will use an improved all in one PCB.

As a Canadian the price keeps going up and up sadly . I’ve spent over $2500 on tubes , sadly my marriage has red line on more , probably why ch-fi took off( my amp with Tubelab high end tubes . Love these and future pre-amps and thoughtful honest company with top level educational videos.

@jd2plus2 Thanks for the comments. I know the cost of everything is painful, but interestingly we've mostly been able to hold our price on vintage tubes and with the new Modern Line of Kits actually drop our prices by up to 1/2! All of that while reducing build complexity and maintaining the same high quality sound.

@ yes you do and it’s not a criticism at all after all I rely on your professional expertise to buy tubes . It’s just a disheartening acknowledgements that Canadians will be feeling even more economic pain and beating the costs, in the coming years (politics theirs basically) from our dissolving dollar and we drool at the actual buying power of Americans of quality goods . Not unaware of the cost to Canadian businesses as well .

shoulda wore gloves while installing tubes or used a microfiber small towel so as not to touch the actual tube with fingers
