Love these, for me better than mullard cuz not so much low mids..more clear

Hey, i wanted to ask, i have compressor and wanted to change my tubes, i have one tungsram coming and i wanted to install a mullard with it. Would i run into problems? Mullard is very musical to me and Tungsram has clarity and definition. I think it would be a great match

Hi!You can combine any tube brand avaible as long is the same type. So the answer is yes. And you can get out some great sounds with Mullard and Tungsram :)

@ecc8344 Can you make a video in depth about identifying vintage tubes, as a newbie this is very hard and i havent seen any videos on how to identify what type of tube something is, what does the etched codes mean and how to read them, how to identify for example that JJ tube for $35 is actually a vintage GE Or you can just respond back to me lol in a small post. Your videos of comparison are amazing, that is why i wanted to mix mullard with tungsram

can u compare the welded plates to the 70s and later ecc83 and discuss the rebranding?

I only have this examples of Tungsram so far, if I get different ones in the future I will compare for sure! When it comes to rebranding, they were rebranded just like all the rest of tubes at that time by multiple rebranding companies.

thanks for the review.where can i get those nos for 40$? i love my mullards but were at the bottom of the barrel it's so rare and expensive to get decent i61/i63 which i normally use on fenders and marshalls,ide love to find something cheaper and easy to get that sounds good for my people.what amp are you using?

Hi! I dont know where you would find em (where your located) but i would look into your local second hand websites and perhaps local second hand markets..i have those i63s that you just mentionet and they sound fantastic...I have Philips pretty much trough their whole years and versions :) Im using Bogner Alchemist

@@ecc8344 i live in israel so ebay or online stores look like the only options.i have the orange tester so i can buy from people. another nice cheap tube is matsushita(japan), brighter than mullard but not too bright, with nice rich mids and bite ,great for overdrive slots. i had their 6681(mobile radios tougher version)and it sounded great. if you want warmth and rca's are too pricey then brimar cv 4004's are cheaper and sounds great(the 6057 yellow t even better but that's rarer and pricier than rca's...) enjoy.
