Completely agree with you, they need to just put it on the package already. Having to stand there and read every ingredient list of every product just to tell if it’s a tubing mascara is a nightmare. I’ve gone up to professional MUAs and asked for a good recommendation and even they didn’t even know what a tubing mascara was!

Right. L'Oreal beauty tubes did it(though it's discontinued in may countries) and a Clinique states it also, but that one is pricey. Catrice has one but they branded it "washable" instead of tubing.

agreed - the merit is amazing. and caliray was way too hard to wash off. i actually cried for 30 minutes in the merit mascara (face-palm) and it did not budge! a true test of a mascara for an emotional person like me who is often afraid to use mascara on days I know I might cry (lmao). i'm definitely interested in the VB tho and it's about the same price

I love the Caliray but agree that it's a pain to remove. I reserve it for days when I want extra water resistance, since it smudges less than waterproof mascaras for me. I've dipped in a pool with it without trouble! Love the separated, fluffy look and natural brush, too. The Maybelline Snapscara Waterproof (only the waterproof is tubing) is kind of similar to the Caliray in application and look to me, but removes more easily. Natural, curved brush. I'd sort of written off the Merit and Victoria Beckham mascaras, but now I'll have to try them!

La girl has an absolutely great one and it's approximately 6 bucks. Half caked has one formula that comes in different wand versions. Its more around $13. Both of these did not flake and came off easily with warm water.

Thrive is my go to but if thrive had the Victoria Beckham wand it would be perfect. I see why you like VB best, formula and wand are great but for straight Asian eyelashes…Thrive holds a curl best. Love your content Rudy!

Same here! I've been using that one for as long as I can remember since I can't use makeup remover. I thought it was a feature unique to that mascara, so I was so happy when I found out that there are others out there too! My current tube of lash power is almost empty so I'm gonna try one of these haha

The Caliray is the first tubing mascara I’ve used and it’s fine but I feel like it is too hard to wash off. The whole concept of a tubing mascara is washing off easily. I’m excited to watch the vid and try something else!

Thank you for this video- I just learned about tubing mascara and it sounds like my ideal product. I like waterproof because it doesn’t make my long lashes give me raccoon eyes but I’m too lazy to wash it off with makeup remover so I never use it. I use regular mascara because I can wash it off fairly easily but it smudges throughout the day and I look like Lottie from princess and the frog when I go to wash it off lol. So this sounds like a perfect in between : )

I got the Blinc mascara from an Allure beauty box, it's my first tubing mascara and it really does change the game! It took a couple tries figuring out, but it has a natural fiber wand which I'm not used to using but I love it. Now I want to try all the tubing mascaras and try more natural fiber wands. But WHY don't brands advertise as tubing? It's like it's a bad word or something, I don't understand!

Agree!! On essence (wanna be) tubing mascara. I have naturally long lashes but with mascara they are longer. At first I thought I got a dried out mascara and a clump came out with the wand . But as I applied it did smudge. I had a moment of sadness and there was the smudge.. I used thrive on other side and Omgggg. It’s my fav and a real tubing mascara. I mean price is excellent but they should remove the tubing claim. Tfs ❤

What a great video, I'm sold on the Loreal Age Perfect Mascara. Would it do well in the rain or in water? I ask cuz I'm a waterproof mascara kind of gal but I just got a lash lift and was told not to use waterproof mascara so that the lift stays in longer. I'm about to go on vacation and am conflicted if I should use waterproof or not 🤷‍♀

@@RudiBerry I really put Loreal Age Perfect Mascara to the test during my vacation. I went swimming in a pool, snorkeling at the beach, night swimming in the ocean and this mascara did not budge. It survived crazy humidity without a smudge. Loreal Age Perfect "Easy to Remove Waterproof" Mascara is amazing!!!

MeghanT - Definitely give the mini Caliray a try in hot humid weather or at the beach. I took it to FL recently and wore it everyday, at the beach, and dipped in the pool without it moving. It removes best with really warm water plus friction, so just don't rub your eyes if you go in the water a bit! Can't vouch for how it would do with serious swimming, though. ETA: the other tubing mascaras I've tried come off much more easily and I wouldn't trust them with significant face sweating or swimming.

Kevyn aucoin mascara is supposed to be good. Blinc is the original tubing.
