During the lengthy interview in the Kremlin, Putin accused Nato member states of trying to intimidate people with an “imaginary Russian threat”.

Steve is clearly jealous of Carlson’s popularity and unprecedented opportunity to have 2 hour interview with a world leader in Vladimir Putin. Whatever you make of the man, he holds significant influence across the world. The assertion that Mr. Carlson didn’t ask hard questions or that he was chosen because he has said positive things about Russia in recent times is profoundly unfounded and insulting to the man’s reputation as a powerhouse in journalism. What stands out is the skill with which he conducted the interview, and the patience to not interrupt every second which apparently Steve would call “hard questions”.
