Hi Karl. Me likey"! Always like stuff that can be packed into a cruising Dinghy!! I have a couple of questions: 1. Can you stand up in it? The Biluta Packraft I can stand in to use it as a tender for my boat? 2. How does it fare with water coming in and how much water before it's a problem? Or is it not suitable for sea or large lakes at all? Many thanks Dave

I don't see why you couldn't stand up in it, if you braced your feet wide against the sides of the boat. It's not rigid like drop stitch, but it is relatively firm. Raf (The Machine) has used these a lot and always has to drain a bit of water out from paddle drip. They're not really suited for wavy water, although I reckon it would handle a foot swell without much issue.

I bought one of these. I had issues but got no customer service. Kayak now at dump where it belongs

Been paddling them since 2017. The HDPE hull can really take a beating. From my 2017 to my latest 2023 models, they keep going and I've even used them for kayak camping. If you get a chance, the 2023 models were a complete revamp and greatly improved the footrest and seating.

Good one Karl. I didn’t realise there were so many folding kayaks. I would be interested on your thoughts on your mates Rush 1. I like the look of it but I can’t find enough of use, in English, to take the plunge. I bought a Cascade following your review - at a really good price from Mick’s Garage in Ireland.

Still got my Cassie :) I've had a quick go in the Rush - it's on my to-do list. It's a cracking boat to fair, stable and nimble :)

Always look forward to your videos!😊 I've been considering the Aquaglide Navarro 130 for a while now. Would love to see you test and review that one!

Unfortunately I don't know anyone with that model. It's not one I'd buy myself with it being double skinned.

Have you ever used an aqua marina memba? I had a seyvlor wabash and got the memba as an upgrade but to be honest don't really see much difference in performance. Im thinking of selling both and getting the aquatec Ottawa although i have been told it may be a push as im 6.5. The 2 i own both take forever to dry and although i like them i feel the ottawa would definitely offer better performance. Have you used the memba and whats your throughs if you have.
@MoreThanJustaCleaner7 ай бұрын
I haven't used the Memba however Grandad in our group had one and he sold it for similar reasons to what you're finding. You're about 7 to 8 inches taller than me. In the Ottawa I have the seat positioned a little forward. I'm thinking if you pushed yours up to the back of the cockpit you might have the legroom you need.

@@MoreThanJustaCleaner thanks good to know. I think they both go on eBay and I go for the Ottawa.

I don't think you'll be disappointed. Everyone I'm aware of that's bought the Ottawa, loves it!

Is there an easier way to do the last 2 middle latches? For some reason it is difficult on mine
@MoreThanJustaCleaner5 ай бұрын
I think it's just a matter of the creases 'settling in' if that makes sense.

@@MoreThanJustaCleaner Oh okay I see now! After 3 times assembling it the plastic has loosened up. Now I can’t get those two outside 2 straps to stay on but I’m assuming it’s mainly for aesthetic purposes?

@@namesomega3694 the outside ones are only for initial leverage.

@@MoreThanJustaCleaner Well can’t wait to try it in late May on a reservoir. I used to have an inflatable until the bottom piece had a hole and realized foldable ones are the best of both worlds for durability and portability
