Outstanding! That must be the clearest calcite I've seen! Here in Sweden you can also find really old amethyst on the ground in the forest.

No matter how many times I see crystals no matter how many times I watch them pull them out of the ground n mountain sides it never gets old and I’m fascinated that when we walk no matter where we walk these r crystals and gems beneath our feet!

The colour of the tourmaline from 11:18 to 12:16 - it made my mouth water! (Also, I stopped counting the times you said "stunning" after about thirty three - but I can see why.) Thank you for this video, I apologize for teasing you.

The matrix for the three tourmalines piece is Clevelandite. I was just at the show but since it was at the end of our four days, I was pretty burn't out and only managed to see a few of what was shown here, so thank you for doing this. I got to see some stuff that I missed. Also, you did an excellent job of not moving the camera too much, so thanks so much!

Frank, nice job on this video. I've never been to the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show before, so thanks for bringing it to me online. I teach mineralogy at the University of Kentucky and had to cancel our field trip when classes went online a few weeks ago, so I linked to this for a "virtual field trip" assignment for my students. They loved it! Thanks for helping educate my students about minerals.

I propose that old drinking game every time you hear 'stunning' and 'wow'. 1 sip for stunning, 2 sips for wow. Who's in? . TBH though, thanks for recording it. I agree with you all the way on the reactions. Those tourmalines, aquamarines, azurites, gold crystals in matrix. The Tucson show is on my bucket list, whichever part is open to the public. Paraiba tourmaline and imperial topaz have not made their way into my personal collection yet. As soon as the world's situation normalizes back to 2019, I'll be there. Who wants to join me.....maybe 2023-ish?

all the lapidary folks overuse it. humans are impressionable and speech patterns rub off on them. I hate it even more when news and politics people tell me to "LOOK" when what the really want me to do is listen, so annoying.
