I’m very sad for her loss. Note she said “when I came home”, so it sounds like she left her very small dogs outside (or with access to the outside) while she was gone. Please spread the word that this is not safe without a protected area for your small dogs. Coyotes, bobcats, hawks can access yards with high fences. You need a covered, enclosed dog run for puppies with doggie doors.
