Les mélodies à certains moments de nos vies, semblent prendre une voix intelligible, et nous conter une histoire. Ce violoncelle et cette guitare me parlent du temps qui passe, d'une petite maison au toit rouge qui connaît les joies et les peines de ses propriétaires. Elle m'évoque les journées pluvieuses, à boire un café près de l'âtre. La perte d'un être aimé, qui laisse une douleur, s'estompant peu à peu avec le temps, pour ne plus laisser qu'une cicatrice endolorie, qui fait alors partie de nous... et nous peignons ainsi le tableau de notre âme, consciencieusement, à mesure que les jours défilent.

Excellent playing. I made a version of this piece for Gören Söllscher and Jian Wang. The arrangement you are using is the same as mine except for some minor changes in the guitar chords, like taking the D7 chord in the third position instead of the first. I have sent this arrangement for free to a number of people, but I don't remember if you are among them. In any case it is NOT excellent forgetting to mention who came up with an idea when using it. Good ideas are rare and idea makers ought to have the appreciation they deserve. But anyhow, thanks for excellent playing. And thanks to Per Sandqvist who made me aware of this youTube clip (he´s really a good son).

Très belle interprétation, fluide, subtile et délicate du guitariste. L’art de faire sobre et profond à la fois. La violoncelliste est un ton en-dessous. Il arrive, à quelques moments rares il est vrai, que le jeu n’ait pas autant de souplesse et que l’archet « gratte » un peu les cordes.
