thank you again fo rthe wonderful teaching father warner, god so loves us that he leaves the 99 in search of the lost one to bring it back to the stable, and what joy experienced in the 1 back far outweighs the 99 back home.... therefore none of us shd ever feek we are not wanted, shd never feel defeated for the Lord promises to seek us out and with that we too shd not fail and put undue distress on God to seek us out..... god bless u father warner

Beautiful insight in God's search of the lost sheep. In our society the lost sheep is looked down upon not rescued. God bless you Fr.Warner.

Thank you Fr. You hit the nail on the head. Yes! The saddest and most evident scandal is division within Parishes, in the Church itself. Why don't we live, and let live!!?? Easier said than done!?

Dear Fr Warner, both readings invite us to visualise God's role as a shepherd who not only provides for our needs but also draws us close offering warmth comfort & understanding. In Matthew the parable of the of the lost sheep shows us the love of our Heavenly Father & the value he places on each one of us when a lost soul is found. May we too at Advent reach out to the lost sharing God's hope & Joy. Thank you for your inspiring teaching. God bless & heal you. 🙏 💞

Thank you Fr. Warner for your reflection. Especially during this season where there is number of wedding reception and holy communion party, I can visualize host given special care and attention to insignificant person/ family . We need to same focus in our parish community that least are taken greater care. We need to have a heart like a Father and not like eldest son in prodigal son parable

Thank you Fr.Warner for laying stress on the importance of reading the First and Second Reading before listening to your reflection. It has helped me to see the link or connection between the trend of thought in both the Readings. Jesus is the Good Shepherd who leaves no stone unturned to get back the lost sheep back into the fold. The Community Discourse in the Gospel of Matthew points out the significance of staying away from power struggles and disunity May the Holy Spirit continue to inspire and guide you Fr.Warner God bless you and protect you always Fr.Warner.

How many times does God forgive? Irreverence, unfaithfulness, ingratitude, indifference....it takes so little for me to hold on to a grudge, to defer forgiveness...and here's God Himself, the Almighty, who chooses to love the very people who offend him over and over again. May the lambs who have strayed look for their Shepherd and avail of this love beyond measure.

Greetings You mentioned a 'Roger Drego' Is Roger a Stanislite..? If 'yes' then l am spot on. I recall from the mist of memory our time in boarding school. We'd sit quietly in the "lav" assembling model woodandpaper gliders. That is all l can recall and l do not think he would remember such a tiny part of this chapter of our life. If he is still around "Hullo" him if you will. He must be an old bloke now. (I am 76). Take care 🎉.

Thanks a million for laying stress on the need to read the First Reading and the Gospel before listening to your reflection. There is definitely a link between the first Reading and the Gospel. Your deep insight into each verse always gives me spiritual guidance The Parable of the Lost Sheep is highly Reflective and reminds thar we all need the help of Jesus Christ, Our Good Shepherd I like the question, " What is the price of a Soul?" Jesus risked the security of 99 sheep to go in search of one lost sheep I remember the words of St.Ignatius Loyola," What doth it profit a man, if he gains the whole world but suffers the loss of his own soul?" May the Holy Spirit continue to inspire and guide you Fr.Warner God bless you and protect you always 🎉

Where are the 99 out of the 100 who don't stray! Seems it's easier to find the lost (there are so many of us) than the ones who don't stray
