It's been a busy week, but after three sessions, I got to finish up last week's episode, just in time for this week's! Loved it. Thanks for another great treat! I always feel spoiled when I finish one of your episodes.

Thank you so much ladies for another fabulous episode! I have to watch after the event due to timezone differences, but I so appreciate being able to listen to the happy chatter while I take the time to unwind. I am a full-time care for my 88 yr old mother, so I have very little "me" time. It’s my little treat to myself to watch the show when can finally knock off for the day. Big hugs to you both from Darwin, Down Under … 🥰🌴🌴🌴 P.S. We are in the middle of winter here, and our daily temps are still in the 30’s (Celsius). We freeze when it drops below 20 hehehe … 😂

Kelly, if you connect the two ends of the row counter chain to make a circle (so that it's like a bracelet) it won't feel as heavy or cumbersome hanging from your knitting needles. Also, I love your purple sweater! The Tolsta is in my queue 💜

Great podcast. Currently I am knitting on Christmas gifts for my four nieces. This year I asked what they would like and what colours. Two wanted mittens and two wanted scarves. I have already knit one pair of mittens and one scarf - I am part way through the second scarf. Love the yarn colour.

Sometimes it can be worth doing Eastern purls to prevent rowing out rather than changing your needle size.

Thank you for another lovely knitchat. Beautiful tees that you were wearing, I was knitting on a Misurina that I started last summer and lost interest in as soon as there was a hint of autumn in the air, I think my summer knit desire window is so short that I only manage to make one a year at most, but so many lovely patterns!

Kelly don’t know if you know that bead thing is like twice sheared sheep’s marker that you hand on needles, changing/slipping into next number chain as you go counting the rows. If you need more than 10, the little marker is the reminder for teens, twentys, etc

Thanks for another great episode that helped as I am officially “grudge knitting,” as my husband calls it, on an Artus shawl. Why on earth am I knitting with wool when the weather is hovering at or near 100 degrees here in North Carolina? I have a Derecho in Remix Light almost finished and then I will add Cloud Nine to my list; I have 6 skeins of Chai ready to go. Have a great week and happy knitting! Cheers!

Thanks again for a great podcast. I have tried to knit the Pyramid Light and have not been successful. I am struggling with the "purlwise-kfb". I've looked at the designer's video. I seem to be doing it correctly, but it looks terrible. I've frogged three attempts. Any suggestions?

I have twice almost sat on top of needle. They stuck rigtig under buttocks and in the buttocks. No blood, as the hole closed as I pulled out the needle. One was metal one was bamboo

I use that exact same row counter from Amazon. I found that I do not always need a 10 row counter so I took the second one (two in a pack) and split it in half. I find a shorter one is easier to manage if the longer one is not needed. I now have a 10 row and 2 - 5 row counters. I love them as I never am left wondering if I have marked it in Knit Companion. I enjoy your show and watch every week!

I just put it in my sink with some Soak wool wash, squeeze dry and lay it out on some blocking boards under a ceiling fan. The Soak seems to help with keeping the linen soft.

I have a full set of interchangeable Takumi bamboo needles. Now that I'm beginning sweaters, I want to try metal. Would you suggest getting the interchangeable chaiogoo needles or just try one size in metal to see if I like them? If so, what size needle?
@KnitsnPieces4 ай бұрын
Hi Kelly, I would suggest just trying one needle first before purchasing a whole set. Pick a size that corresponds to the weight of yarn that you like to knit with the most.
