Here is how you can differentiate the difference between the two power supplies; A "Convertor" steps down the electricity from 120VAC to 12VDC. An "Inverter" reverses it from 12-48 volts up to 120VAC. The 12-48 volts is to account for different inputs like solar panels.

You would think I would remember all that. I was a tank turret repair specialist in the military and been in the building and trucking world for years. I think maybe its because it is not something I have had to use much of so it dont stick. But thanks for the update!! Ill take all the help I can get!!

If you are using 110v to run your roof air there are 3 capacitors(in mine anyway) If you have seen the schematic and the capacitors...check for power on both sides of each. Be careful they hold a charge even after turning off the power... If you need to buy a capacitor get this "soft start" kit. It comes with everything for Coleman kzbin.info/www/bejne/jl6ahIGJl5usfa8si=0-Wb6MWSeIkUbVEf Take the front cover off and thoroughly clean the coils. Its easy while you're in there.
