Tuesday Report: Portraits of Tuas 星期二特写：大士变幻时 EP1 - Tuas Fishing Village

There used to be a famous fishing village in Tuas. After land acquisition at Tuas Village in the 1970s, some fishermen remained in the nearby waters to make a living. Former villagers reminisce about their past Kampong life, recalling Joo Koon School, Jurong Fishing Industries Association, Ju Ming Sia Society and Tuas Pek Kong Keng Temple. Although these familiar sites no longer exist, the bonds among the villagers stay intact. 大士曾经有个闻名遐迩的渔村。大士村土地在1970年代被征用后，仍有渔民留守在他们熟悉的附近海域捕鱼营生。在大士村出世成长的前村民缅怀过往甘榜生活，回忆起为渔民子女而建的裕群学校，为学校补贴经费的鱼栅公所，为团结父老乡亲而设的裕盟社，还有为村民提供心灵慰藉的大士伯公宫。虽然大士村不复存在，但村民之间的情谊不变。
