Do you think its possible to ask the map modders if they can add it to quick battles and then we advertise it to the community that they can play the awesome maps in QB if they download the mod? I understand it may take some finessing. You and the tournament peeps are single handedly keeping this game interesting

Archie loses to Grimgor in a fight. Grimgor is beaten only by Skarbrand which is fair, and the friggin jade dragon for whatever reason (his point and click nuke does too much damage). Worth noting that Luthor Harkon beats most lords in a fight if he gets some good hits in early. Also never including Ku'gath for duels, of course, because he is just on another level.

I think you're really underestimating how much settra did for you. The amount of damage he prevented cheap casting neru's and Djaf's against collosadon hunters was a lot. Also he's a great fighter with innate anti large against chungus lizard build, and can turn any unit into a Kroxi shredder if he needs help he got a little over 2000 personal value, but if you take into account the value he helped other units generate by protecting bowshabti, and applying anti large to units, he probably helped generate almost 3k total value that wouldn't be shown on his unit card.

main issue is comparing him to what other lords wouldve/couldve done here not so much how much he got in isolation but I do agree he did well in that game. But also even with that buff tomb kings still do not become "kroxi shredders." tbh

@@Weberkooks If you give basic skeleton spearmen an additional 16 bonus vs large, they start hitting almost as hard as chaos warriors against kroxis. If you count their innate bonus vs large, they would then be getting an additional 30 weapon damage (total 54) and melee attack (total 44), with the damage further being multiplied by 25%. Their armor piercing remains on the lower side, but with that much weapon damage, they will stack damage against kroxigors very quickly. It takes one of the cheapest T1 units in the game and makes them perform almost as well as a T3 unit would, for 5 wom.

GENERALLY is exactly right. almost there entire roster is overpowered. They have cheap anti large infantry that have halberds and take forever to break. they have pistols that do 8 ap instead of every other pistol which does 2 ap.

in the game at 1hour, lizardmen vs tomb king, at the end Setra acted as a bait. he lost a few units trying to go for the kill on setra :)

I feel like chariot settra might have been a little bit better in that 2nd WE game. glorious charge would mean your charges always apply a leadership penalty as if you got a flank charge, no terror sucks but like maybe. also i think it might've been more efficient at chewing up infantry. seemed like a lot of the time the warsphinx couldn't terror route bc of high base leadership and eternal guard, so maybe going for something that did a bit more killing would have helped.

As a Brit, your British friends will be too polite to say anything about the tea. if someone makes you awful tea you just grin and bear it until they leave the room and throw it down the sink if you get a chance or just suffer in silence if not 😂 and the problem with microwaving is the water won't get hot enough to make good tea

@@Weberkooks I'm sure you could but surely that would result in a lot of water being in the microwave and not the cup so I presume generally heating the water in the microwave wouldn't get it as hot as a kettle would to avoid a mess. I can't say I've ever had a cup of tea from a microwave so maybe it's great but I have doubts

Not surprising. Kislev is the most mary sue faction in total warhammer. Armored kossars have high health per model, good stats, good melee damage, good armor, a silver shield, a juicy pistol ranged attack and are cheaper than empire greatswords on top of it all. Even their artillery is just a monster that is made to obliterate any skirmishers which are their natural counter...

Vampire counts may do ok in Dom but they need help in LB. Though Skaven need a lot more help in LB. Buffing their SE monsters would be a good way.

doing basically no damage is hard to call a nuisance. More like a distraction, that you can easilly ignore while it takes all day to destroy a chaff infantry unit. It's only benefit is terror routing tbh.

It will never happen. Balance is so important in pvp and CA refuses to devote the resources to it. peer to peer connections with no dedicated servers mean that lag is inevitable. CA refuses to add decent maps to pvp, so everyone playing competitive uses map packs. It's never going to be more popular than campaign but it could be more popular than it is now If CA put forth the effort for it. But as os right now their trapped in the circular reasoning of "it isnt popular therefore we cannot devote the resourced to improve it (which would make it more popular)

They’re a melee faction whos just supposed to charge into battle and grind, but their units just don’t have the most killing power, or the most staying power. On top of that they don’t have magic, which means that even if they do win the melee grind, their opponent still has a massive upside.

@@spilleren9173Their also so, so overcosted all of their units are overpriced they are forced to take smaller armies if you look at the melee factions that do well they are able to bring large armies.

Kislevs units don't need to be changed or nerfed. If that happens they'll be ruined again for Campaign ( the Kislev campaigns are rough anyway except Mother Ostankya). In Multiplayer this should be handled to via costs, not via changes to units. The healing didn't work as intended btw - it was a bug that the Druhzina healed the army instead of only the hag Witch heroes.

I feel you tend to leave the objectives alone for too long. I've been watching most of you recent battles and you consistently seem to focus on fighting and generating value, which often lands you in situations where you are hard-pressed to make up for being behind in points... I think you could have one that Itza battle, if you had focused on the objectives a little more
