curious, are there any prometheus plugins for Ceph ? we use Prometheus as the single see all pane of glass.

Ceph actually ships with a custom Prometheus Exporter as well as Grafana Dashboards that have been customized to use the data generated by it.

Is there any ability to expand a single storage block by the fly without loss of data? Could i add more servers when i need more storage capacity?

Great question! If you are also running the same version of Petasan that we showed off in this video (2.6.0) Then you can follow this guide on our knowledgebase : knowledgebase.45drives.com/kb/kb045249-petasan-re-sizing-an-online-in-production-rbd-iscsi-lun/ However, if you have a Petasan cluster that is running the newest version (2.7.0) - You can do this directly from the Web management UI without having to go into command line. After using the Ceph Dashboard under Proxmox, this one makes me sad.
