Another amazing lesson ! Thank you for teaching us how to build tones and work with the Fractal. It is an amazing. piece of gear and this is one of the best subscriptions to have on you tube. Thank you again Leon and G66.

Leon, you're a godsend to all of the people like me who are really interested in learning how to make a practical good tone to use with very little experience. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your videos and how much you've helped me not only learn how to use my FM3, but also how to set up a sound for recording and performing. Thank you so much!

eq is the absolute biggest thing to understand! excellent video for anyone trying to learn to build tones on the axe or anything in general. The output eq on the amp is also pretty awesome for more tone shaping!

I'm always pleased with how good your videos are.😊 Simply great and thank you for that. By the way, luckily most of the tips also work with the Axe-FX 2. OK, I'm old-fashioned but the Axe-Fx 2 still sounds great for me. P.S. If anyone wants to do me a favor, I need the buttons to operate the front panel. European support doesn't have any in stock anymore. Does anyone know the type/item number of the buttons?

This helps Leon, as mentioned I am finding the QSC 12.2 way too harsh and shrill

Just purchased a fm3, most of the sounds are muddy and basically uninspiring. Does this have to be done to even the stock presets.? My fm3 was updated and everything, struggling to get a good sound, any tips would be greatly appreciated. Your videos are very helpful and the playing is inspiring

Hi, Leon! Amazing video, man. What about a discussion over how an EQ block could shape and pump the distortion, mainly in metal style? Thanks a lot, man!

Eq'ing for two different guitars. Leon my PRS custom with Metal pickups sounds good with all my presets. Then when I switch to Charvel with Nazgul/Sentient my sound guy tells me it sounds brittle and flat. Any thoughts to sculpt for second guitar when preset was made with other guitar.

Might be because the Nazgul isn't pushing as much low end as your PRS pickups are. You can try disabling the CUT button in the amp block when you switch guitars. You can also just set up individual presets for each guitar. Duplicate them and then just rename them based on what guitar you're using. You can make the adjustments for the Charvel accordingly and then just ensure you're using the right preset for the guitar whenever necessary.
