I just read the book a couple of weeks ago and this is not the trailer im expecting. The story revolves on mitch-morrie relationship and here in the movie mitch-janine. In the book, janine only showed up when morrie asked her to visit him with mitch next tuesday. Tuesdays with Morrie is such an inspiring story with lots of lessons :)

12 years later, I just read the book and I loved it. Just now I'll see the movie. It is the most beautiful story! Morrie Schwartz was the Best! From what I see was a really great man.

This was a book I had to read in grade 12 English. There is a real lesson about life that people are forgetting. Sometimes to be honest I forget about what I learned from this story. I need to start reading it again it is just an inspiration for millions of people world wide and they have to see or learn from what this man said as he was dying from ALS. Today Mitch Albom travels and gives motivational speeches about what he learned. The teaching from the book still continues to this day. What I learned from this book is to not be too unhappy with yourself because just like he said. "Living unhappily is another thing."

I can relate to this story so much. My grandfather may god rest his soul, died of ALS several months before my graduation and it still hurts me as I read this book in religion class because it makes me re-live as if I was Mitch and Morrie was my grandfather. This story is a life changing story and I highly recommend it to anyone who is will to learn the true meaning of life.

The book is very touching, I found the translation version couple weeks ago and just finished it this morning. Not sure if there is a story between the author and his wife, but the conversation between him and his couch is very inspiring. I really love this book, and I hope I can do the same thing what he did in the end with his brother. Cheers. 2018 :)

I’ve just finished this book and loved every word. This adaption looks like a great film but sadly not quite true to the book. Janine hardly featured in the book and we did not learn much at all about her and Mitches relationship. Also, Mitch only cried when they said their last goodbye while Morrie was in bed a few days before he died, not in his chair weeks before as it shows in the trailer. I still want to watch it and will enjoy it though.
