Holy shit I was just thing that since Carla Esparza was so worried about Jessica Penne's ground game in their fight she stood the whole time and showed much better stand up then I knew she had. She got pretty damaged from fighting so much on the feet which it seems she isn't used to as much because she uses her strikes to get the take down then ground and pound. Jessica Penne was starting to close the distance, closer to landing the bigger and harder shots as time counted down in the 3rd round. If Carla didn't want any of Jessica Penne's jiujitsu then it's probable she won't use the wrestling to implement ground and pound very much or at all in this fight with Namajunas because she has a very confident submission game. Rose Namajunas has more of a flashy but yet effective arsenal on the feet than Penne I believe so it's logical to think that a kick will land right across Carla Esparza's pretty face for a knockout!
