Ive always wonted a big motor not that big but maybe a 10 15 hp motor they still have a huge wheel !!

These are still around, they are so big they are hard to move and so solid they are difficult to scrap. Interesting thing is they might look to be too far gone but usually can be brought back to life. The big hit and miss engine really bring a premium price I have found :(

Yes they will run equally well in either direction. All you need to do is change the timing. This could be done by letting the engine almost stop and reverse the timing. An experienced operator could make it look easy

That’s cool they built them to last I’d love to have a engine like that with a generator on it as long as it’s oiled and got fuel it’ll run for a long time

I bet these would have an altogether different sound if under a load. I wish these shows could figure out how to load these big monsters but, they might blow apart too!
