I worked at The Breakers hotel in Palm Beach in the 1990’s. We made key lime pies 80 at a time. Sweetened condensed milk, Nellie and Joe’s key west key lime juice, and egg yolks. Graham cracker crust garnished with a rosette of whipped cream and a lime slice twist. So simple but so good!

Made the pie tonight and DAMN!! So simple and so good. Not bad at all calorie wise as well. I'm closing on a Cape Coral home in a few weeks and first thing I'm doing is planting some key lime trees in the yard! Great channel and in my top 5 favs! I love bowfishing and have a prodrive mud motor boat with light bars, front stick control ect...so Ibshould be set up good for Florida food gathering

Tug we rarely got stone crab on banks when shallow water gigging but old man ran Harris Atlantic crab company and crabbers would bring then in to loading dock and trade for manhaiden crab bait but they are solo sweet! 10-20 pounds at a time. You guys are bringing back so many memories!

Gigged a few times when I lived there as a teen late 70s north of Tampa...We would burn tires onshore to find our way back!...The water was crystal clear, colorful and so abundant with life. The sea floor was so clean. Different times..Want pie now...😎
