Naaraz, hairaan, pareshaan, colloquially, all would be used the same, but such a wonderful play on words by the inimitable Gulzaar sahaab. We use words to communicate, he uses them to touch different emotions. The personifications which he typically uses in his lyrics are so unique, a completely different paradigm of thinking. The movie was completed without the female version, but the makers realised that without Lata didi, the success is a bit doubtful. Fantastic Rahul, superb, great initiative to keep these gems fresh in our minds and helping us understand the fine nuances. Hope to see you soon!

Rahul-ji … yet another mesmerizing rendition, like all the other songs you unfold! You sang it better than both the originals, IMHO. 👏👏👏 Speaking about the originals - I have a different opinion. Without taking anything away from Lata-ji’s version, which is superb, I believe Anup Ghoshal-ji’s version is even better and more emotive! Again just my opinion!
