Dinesh one cannot be a brahmin by birth just like how one cannot be a shudra by birth before your colonial white masters sneaked in (In the 16th century). Rigid, birth based caste system was a creation of colonialists. It is different from guna and karma based varna/jathi system. A person who was born in a brahmin family and works as a CEO of a company cannot call himself as a Brahmin.

Gurumoorthy Sir, I am in total agreement with your views on globalization. In the name of globalization vested interests (big importers, business houses and associated political elements) get all their needs and products done in most populous countries at atrocious working conditions and thereby denying opportunities in their countries. The greatest loss to a country is losing the capability to produce the items of their day-to-day needs by themselves. When these are done outside the country, then the country loses the technology, know-how, and technical skills for ever. Last but not the least, the public do not even know how to live with what the land offers, instead thinks everything is available without working for it.

If we are an omnitheistic country we are not secular. We are a pluralistic country which is all inclusive. Stalin's ThirukOshtiyur temple visit might be akin to Rahul Gandhi's Somnath visit. Nobody takes all these visits seriously. Rajnikant will not be able to come to power because of his caste. Kamal Hasan being மண்ணின் மைந்தன் might be able to do that.
