TUKK TALES: The Rescue - A Clone Wars Fan Film | Announcement Teaser Trailer

Here we go!
After a lot of asset building, test animations, artworks & learning a ton along the way, I'm finally working on an actual Clone Wars fan short film !
A huge passion project & love letter to the show that made my childhood.
What is it about?
"In a war filled with larger-than-life heroes, a rather unremarkable group of clones led by Captain Tukk proves that everyone has the potential to write their own legends. As the troopers find themselves trapped behind enemy lines, they must fight their way out of danger, forge unexpected alliances and discover the strength of compassion in a race against time."
How long will it be??
I'm currently revising parts of the previs animation, so it's not set in stone yet, but probably around 12 minutes.
And when will it be released???
Since this is a personal project I can only work on between client jobs, it depends on a lot of factors that are hard to foresee. For now I can only humbly ask you to be patient, follow along my journey with this ambitious fan film project, subscribe and keep an eye on my social media pages for future updates and previews. *===UPDATE November 6, 2023===* Hey everyone! Just updated the video description a bit, changing two important details: 1. LENGTH: The estimated length of the short film will be closer to 12 minutes instead of 6! Yes, you heard that right, Tukk Tales will be quite a bit longer than initially planned! I realized the story benefits a lot from the additional scenes & the higher stakes they introduce & from letting the scenes breath a bit more overall. I usually work as 3d generalist in advertising where videos have to be FAST & attention grabbing, but with a film like this the right pacing is so important. It's such a great learning experience for me as both a 3d generalist AND director, which is one of the main reasons why I'm making it in the first place. 2. RELEASE DATE: I initially said I HOPE to get the short film finished some time next year, but that's certainly not the case any more due to both the increased length & me having been busier with freelance work & life than anticipated throughout the year. Since this is a personal project I can only work on between client jobs, the ultimate release date depends on a lot of factors that are hard to foresee. I think this proves how much fans overwhelmingly love the clones and the animated series' from Clone Wars to Bad Batch and want more. I can't wait for the whole story. I already saw some of your test footage a long while back, but holy hell, it still blows my mind how insanely well you replicated the Clone Wars/Bad Batch style. Even the dialogue/humor feels authentic to the shows! The droid feeling its head after the "long face" line genuinely got me. I'm incredibly excited to see the finished product! This is going to be a blast!
