Damaris' story is so intriguing. It should challenge and inspire all of us, and be shared by all of us. Not everyone goes through what she went through and becomes what she is. She went through a lot of trials and temptations at a young age, unintentionally made bad choices along the way, realized at a young age that she was taking the wrong path and decided to change course, and she's now inspiring the world at a young age. Her story tells us that it is possible to overcome our bad choices, including addictions, become better people and be of a positive impact to society. Her story is a story of hope and strength. It tells us that we can overcome life's hardships and challenges, and become who we aspire to be in life. Her story calls us to seek and know God's purpose for our lives, if we are to live our dreams. She deserves every form of appreciation, support and encouragement for gathering the courage to share such a sensitive, but life changing story. Damaris Kimani, I sympathize with you for what you went through at such a tender age. But, I celebrate the wisdom, courage and positive energy that you carry. Continue to be the positive force of change that God's purposed your life for. Never lose way, greatness awaits you! Lots of love from South Korea!

Being a first born daughter and having an alcoholic dad who abuses your mother in front of you is the worst nightmare. Your whole life changes starting with the way you perceive men. Relationship with the man who brought you to this world changes. Forgiving becomes very hard because your heart is very heavy. You lacks confidence and every time you keeps reminding yourself of the past. This what i went through since i came to this world. My dad has never been sober even for two weeks. Every time he drinks himself silly he would chase everybody away and even pour the food so that we could not eat. He could beat my mum in front of me and if i try to talk i could be slapped very hard. I even got used to being insulted and beaten by him that i thought i was useless. But who is God, today i have a reason to thank God because i live a peaceful life. I do not sleep hungry and cold nor does my children as i used to due to alcoholism. My advise to men out there please stop destroying the future of you children by abusing your wives or the kids. Your children are your future. Today you might abuse them because they are young and don't understand anything but remember tomorrow when you have white hair and have no strength you will really need them. NO ONE STAYS YOUNG AND HEALTH FOREVER. SO HAVE A HUMAN HEART. YOUR KIDS NEEDS YOUR LOVE AND CARE.

Bingeing on Tuko as Virginia is on a stay home order and we can't leave the house except to get food - this has been one of my fave episides. What a beautiful young lady from the inside out! Forgiveness is not for the person who wronged you, it's for your own peace of mind. Grudges keep you in a state of constant victimhood - once you forgive, you change the narrative and transform from victim to victor!
