Indodana has to be one of the most beautiful and moving pieces of music ever composed. And while many choirs perform it well, I feel that South African choirs do it best. Thank you for such glorious music.

South African choirs overall are rad. I think this could be because blacks and whites sing together And they both bring their style to the table

Yes, indeed. Andre van der Merve, Director of the Stellenbosch Choir said that mixing the voices of the different races is a challenge because they are all different. But it also offers wonderful opportunities and the results speak for themselves. I have discovered a number of SA choirs and I love them all. The music is wonderful but the voices blend like I have not heard in choirs outside of SA.

@@jamarjohnson6077 You don’t say where you’re from but it doesn’t matter when it comes to music. So many great choirs but check out Stellenbosch University Choir. Tuks Camerata is a close second but University of Johannesburg is wonderful. Also, check out Cape Town Youth Choir and Ndlovu Youth Choir. The Vox Chamber Choir does wonderful work, especially with Afrikaans songs. There’s the Soweto Gospel Choir and the Drakensberg Boys Choir and the University Of Cape Town Choir. I think that just about any college has a choir worth listening to. I’m sure I’ve only mentioned a few here. You’ll find them all here on KZbin. If anybody else wants to add, please feel free. I hope this gives you something to work with.

It evoked great emotions and gave us a sense of comfort and reassurance that all in the end will be okay... As I listen to it now, I am filled with nostalgia and pride. Great rendition by Tuks need I add that you have done justice to the song… “oh baba Jehovah” indeed HE is the only one we can cry and call to at all times

Extraordinary . Even if you do not understand the language they are singing in , you will not miss the message of the song in their voices and in the melody they have so beautifully created. My favorite part is when they are crying out to the Father almost like in yearning and desperation for the Father"s presence . Not that how I feel matters or my personal interpretation, but , this is so beautiful. When I go Back to Durban I am going to play this performance for my mother.
