Indodana has to be one of the most beautiful and moving pieces of music ever composed. And while many choirs perform it well, I feel that South African choirs do it best. Thank you for such glorious music.

South African choirs overall are rad. I think this could be because blacks and whites sing together And they both bring their style to the table

Yes, indeed. Andre van der Merve, Director of the Stellenbosch Choir said that mixing the voices of the different races is a challenge because they are all different. But it also offers wonderful opportunities and the results speak for themselves. I have discovered a number of SA choirs and I love them all. The music is wonderful but the voices blend like I have not heard in choirs outside of SA.

@@jamarjohnson6077 You don’t say where you’re from but it doesn’t matter when it comes to music. So many great choirs but check out Stellenbosch University Choir. Tuks Camerata is a close second but University of Johannesburg is wonderful. Also, check out Cape Town Youth Choir and Ndlovu Youth Choir. The Vox Chamber Choir does wonderful work, especially with Afrikaans songs. There’s the Soweto Gospel Choir and the Drakensberg Boys Choir and the University Of Cape Town Choir. I think that just about any college has a choir worth listening to. I’m sure I’ve only mentioned a few here. You’ll find them all here on KZbin. If anybody else wants to add, please feel free. I hope this gives you something to work with.

We had the great pleasure of listening to you live in a small town in Catalonia (NE of Spain, 3 years ago) . All your songs brought me to tears. At the end of the performance we managed to find 10€ and buy your CD. It is our son's favourite, he is a non-verbal autistic youngster and is amazed at your vocal skills. Thanks for such a great night, thanks for such beauty in the world.

It’s been 10 years since we created this magic... as a bass 2 we didn’t have much to in this... but we hit that “Tchem-tchem..” with all our might. This was our @Mzanzi Youth Choir, we would sing this song every chance we got; during rehearsals, on the bus, airports literally everywhere. It took us to places we had never ever been to. It evoked great emotions and gave us a sense of comfort and reassurance that all in the end will be okay... As I listen to it now, I am filled with nostalgia and pride. Great rendition by Tuks need I add that you have done justice to the song… “oh baba Jehovah” indeed HE is the only one we can cry and call to at all times

I praise your NAME for this beautiful Music, your eternal WORD, and the precious gift of salvation. Here is a word for your soul.......Repent and turn to our loving Father God.......BECAUSE HE ALLOWS US TO! We are only human, not an ANGEL. Heaven awaits those who turn to God for help. Extraordinary . Even if you do not understand the language they are singing in , you will not miss the message of the song in their voices and in the melody they have so beautifully created. My favorite part is when they are crying out to the Father almost like in yearning and desperation for the Father"s presence . Not that how I feel matters or my personal interpretation, but , this is so beautiful. When I go Back to Durban I am going to play this performance for my mother.

Today - 15th April 2022 - Good Friday, I am listening as usual to this powerful song. Thank you Jesus for taking all out sins on your shoulders. If you are relegious or not - only the thought of it, that a person would do that is amazing. So do not try to do good things for God, he does not care. He knows you anyway. But do good for your people you know or for strangers. Enjoy life as it has been given to you. God bless us all.
