I had a terrible time with the pattern. I felt like I needed more details to get me through each step. Sometimes I couldn't figure out how she got to the diagrams. Watching the video helped a bunch. (Unfortunately it was not available last night when I was making the Coin Purse. I had to improvise a lot because I did not use cork or faux leather, but quilting cotton. I top stitched around the zipper and added extra steps to not show raw edges.)

Thank you for your comment, depending on your skills-we do have a chart on each pattern from Novice to Intermediate. This pattern runs right down the middle. We advice using the recommended fabrics the first time and then go from there to customize.

Why do you leave the raw edges exposed?

Our Cork and Faux leather does not fray-you can finish with Edge Kote if you wanted. sallietomato.com/products/edge-kote?_pos=1&_psq=edge&_ss=e&_v=1.0

@@SallieTomato Thank you . That makes sense. I made mine with cotton fabric so I just tweeked it and tucked in my raw edges.
