Loved Jetty in the backpack. Sierra and Billy, communication is the key to a successful marriage. Hubby and I have had many disagreements in our 31 (soon to be 32) years of marriage and it’s ok to argue/disagree, just talk it out and don’t go to bed angry. Love your videos.

Great video. This one is right up my alley. I'm a horseback rider so as far as bikes on a horse trail yes that's a big no no. It doesn't bother our horses but it will freak some horses out. If you encounter horses stop and walk your bikes off the trail until they pass horses have the right of way over bikes and hikers. I think paddle boarding on the river would be fun. Maybe park and walk upstream a mile or so and try a short trip first. But truck at one end and bike at the other will work. Building the Bridge they would use an auger with a T handle to drill the holes for the pegs. Some grist mills would power a saw mill along with many other things throughout the mill. Some would even power wood working machines. Sierra that was a perfect looking marshmallow. Wishing y'all safe travels.

Welcome to the Buckeye! If you want to to do a little kayaking, there's a place in Monroe Falls that has you drop in the Cuyahoga River at their little stretch of beach and they pick you up downriver in Cuyahoga Falls. It's within 20 minutes of the National Park. I'll even watch Jetty for you! Great video as always! The hills are what gets you here, I've lived in both Ohio and Florida - 10 miles here is like 50 down there. Enjoy your time in the Great State of Ohio!

Hello! I didn’t know if I was gonna like the “on land” portion of your channel but it’s awesome! Something I discovered captaining a crew boat for a dredge operation along inland rivers were that US corps of engineers modern lock and dams usually have free boondock camping. That may be an option in the future when looking for campsites. Have fun and keep going!

A very long time ago..in 1972.. I worked in a state forest in SW Michigan.. there were 3 or 4 campgrounds to deal with. Watching you get a fire going spurred my memory. I would take a crew of jail trustees out into the woods to tree tops left behind by lumber companies. We would spend days cutting them up & bringing the logs to the campgrounds for firewood. If we didn't do that, the campers would have cut down every tree in sight for wood.

Your last 2 posts were really cool as you're getting close to my stomping grounds in Ohio. We spend a lot of time in Clear Creek State Park in Pennsylvania and Beaver Creek State Park in Ohio is very close and special to me for a couple of reasons. 1st it was the site of my first ever overnite bicycling camping trip . 2nd, every year since 1994 we watch for the coldest night of the year and camp out at that very campsite that overlooks the valley & Beaver Creek. Our record a few years ago was -28 Degrees F for the cold point. There's no 'straight path from Clear Creek to Beaver Creek so we have to wonder how you found your way there :) We're now boat owners with a boat just south of Annapolis and enjoy your channel.

I grew up in eastern Ohio and often rode the horse trails at Beaver Creek. We would sometimes us the bike trails as well, and they are not for novices. The worst part is the campgrounds are on the top of a pretty significant hill, so getting back to camp is exhausting!

if you're struggling to find spots I've heard boondockers welcome is a good place to look. From what I remember I think its $50 a year, but there are a ton of places to camp for free and at some really cool locations such as vineyards. you just have to pay the yearly membership fee.

Those mills are called Grist mills. Grain grinding betweem two huge incised stones produce flour. Giant gears change horizontal rotary power to vertical rotare power which in turn rotate the big grinding stones. grain is fed tothe grinding surface through a hole toward the center of the stones. the grinding motion and deliberate tilting of the entire stone bed causes the finished flour product to spill over into designed trough. and to person bagging it. the flour is sifted to remove husk of grain beads. that is used in some cases to feed livestock.
