Morning Dave, Tulip Sadie resigned, probably quite rightly, however, how many corrupt Tory ministers did not resign or were only belatedly and reluctantly sacked. Sadly it is difficult to have much confidence in this latest ceasefire lasting, given the gulf between the Israeli government and Hamas,but we can only hope.

Morning Dave not so cold this morning 'up North' I hope. Re Tulip Saddiq, she at least immediately refered herself to the office of the Ministerial Code and as not been found to have done anything wrong. Even though she has apparently done nothing wrong, if she hadn't resigned the crappy right wing media would have kept on and on like a dog with a bone. She's done the right thing in resigning her post, and I hope that she has been a good MP to her constituents. Sadly we cant always choose our relatives and associates or what they get up to, but it is best to distance yourself if there is any hint of corruption, especially in government. Probably not a good idea to accept an offer of a luxury flat from 'uncle' either, no matter how tempting!
