The old yellow building with the big green door next to the RSL (that's next to Tyson) is the original Fire house, my Grandfather was the 1st Fire Chief of Tully, Robert Lauder, my Father Bruce is the 2nd youngest. They lived above the Fire house. The best view in Tully is from the cemetery you will find my Grandfather's grave there.

Thanks for sharing video, I was living as a backpacker back in 2005~2007. I became too emotional after watching this video. Things hasn't changed. I always miss this place like my hometown. I hope I visit there again with my family.

Wow. That's so great to hear from someone who loved there. When I think about walks to record I try to find places with some character and that will be interesting for people to see. Tully was small but really great to walk around. I hope you can visit again some time in the future.

Grew up here in the 60’s and 70’s. Main thing I remember was the rain and the floods. The old movie theatre (now pacific fasteners) was where the floodwater from the Banyan Creek would come to every year. Now I hear it barely floods any more. Sad. Interesting note ... in the 60’s and early 70’s, Tully was a world renowned UFO hotspot.

That’s some great reflections! Loved reading this. Also loved my walk in Tully. Did not know about the UFO aspect though. Very interesting!

@shanoinoz Жыл бұрын
@@baxbax8701 not good putting your name on youtube but I lived at 1 brannigan st... right on the bend. The end with upper and lower streets, not the dead end. Peter Rabbit and fatcat lived on the same street. Not sure if you had moved by then but if you know those names you would know who I am. We bought the house from Bluey David (shell) around 1974-75.
