Correct - The Freemasons "Keystone Tower", which is planned to be 187m and 37 storeys tall, was recently approved by the state commission assessment panel. Built directly behind the Grand Lodge on North Terrace, it will feature Adelaide Museum of South Australia’s History, a Westin Hotel and a three-level observatory with sweeping 360 degree views.

The greater Adelaide metropolitan area resemble a micro-mini version of Los Angeles. Adelaide have a suburb already named Pasadena- all it needs to complete the illusion are more palm trees along its avenues. Just 1 tip to avoid sticking out like a tourist- keep the surf board at home.

Many of the high rise towers are not memorable. It would be great if Adelaide had some architecturally impressive high rise buildings that made the city more distinguishable. 🧐

A city that size should have more high rises downtown. It is spread out with medium sized buildings, like a large suburb.

Thanks for the suggestions, but unfortunately both of those areas are no-fly zones due to their close proximity to Parafield Airport and the RAAF Base Edinburgh (restricted airspace).

@@ACDZ123 it has no city feel. No hustle and bustle. I grew up in a real concrete jungle. Not these flimsy glass so called sky scrapers with not much people on streets. Only in that hay street and Murray street mall. That's not a city feel at all. I wonder if those buildings r even occupied, most of them. I don't really see people enter or exit whenever I've walked past. Dead as can be with zero character.
