Victory had been praying for revival for many years.. When Pastor Billy Joe Daugherty was alive I used to spend time in prayer room there with the group who were praying for revival there at that time. That prayer group included Margaret Hawthorne and Phyllis. So I rejoice for VCC and Tulsa. Now I'm living at home here in Tobago we desire and pray for God's visitation here also.

In the 1990s I was a youth leader. We took the youth to a conference in the bay area. It was called Aquire the fire. We prayed then for the youth to want more of the presence of God and for them to be vessels to share his love, forgiveness and mercy. Its exciting that the youth and adults are hungry for God. He's coming back for his church soon.

I know he said that he didn't want to copy Asbury but God confirmed this with me. After I was looking at videos of Asbury I started to have Tulsa in my mind to the point where I would confuse Tulsa and Asbury for some reason and now look at this. And funny thing is that I didn't even know about Asbury's revival until a friend told me yesterday then thats when i started thinking about Tulsa. Nowhere in scripture does it even suggest that there will be a revival in the last days, other than the one that takes place DURING the 7 year tribulation period, which we are not in. Revival is marked by a front-and-center proclaiming of the gospel, confessing of sins and calls to repentance. While the Asbury episode was profitable and useful to God, it was just a music service with prayer sprinkled on it but was not a true revival. You need the GOSPEL and a call for REPENTANCE

I don't think you understand what we're seeing here. It's easy to judge from the outside but when you get close and see that a majority of the kids at asbury were already from Christian families who have spent years in church, you start to see that this is a revival and not a crusade. Revival of kids who've spent years watching their parents and families experience God and now experiencing His presence in a way they never have. I don't mean to be argumentative, I just respectfully disagree with your assessment. And while I probably am not fully articulating what I mean, I think you can get a picture that will suffice. One more thing I know that many will find out in the coming days, God is looking for those who will steward His presence well. I know a little about this and let me tell you that is all that is required at the moment and we should all be thankful. It's a move of God and that's enough for me.
