Basically a question if the Chinese decide to actually build good quality and sell it at a low price, or if they decide to build low quality and try to sell it for a better price by attaching a Zündapp logo. We can hope for the former, but rather expect the latter.

Hatte in den 1980'er eine KS80 Super und alle Japaner waren Motormäßig von der Leistung weit weg.Ok Verarbeitung war bei den Japanern schon damals in Top .

Ich hatte viele Motorräder. Auch zwei Zündapps. KS175. Grün, mit Halbschale und 17PS. Was blieb mir in Erinnerung: Recht gute Leistung des Zweitakters. Der Rest? - vergiss es. Schweineteuer. Empfindlicher Rahmen und billigste Anbauteile aus dem 50er Segment. Mittelmäßige Bremsen und ein etwas nachgiebiges Fahrverhalten, wenn man etwas am Kabel zog. Fußrasten nicht klappbar, ganz fürchterliches Aufsetzen in ambitionierten Kurven. Damals (1978/79) konnte man daran schon erkennen, woran die deutsche Möppiindustrie verreckt ist. Zu teuer und altbacken. Zündapp hats dann auch nicht kapiert, dass die 50/80er eben keine Stammkunden bleiben, wenn man nur aufgebohrte Kleinkrafträder am Markt hat, die dann auch noch scheiße und teuer sind. Ruhe in Frieden und komm bloß nie wieder...

@@RPNization Das ist prinzipiell richtig. Nur mit dem Unterschied, dass sich ein 175er Zweitakter sicher an andere Kunden wendet, als die BMW Boxer alter Tage. Die Zündapp sollte wohl eher den jungen Umsteigern aus der Kleinkraftradecke dienen, die BMW der gestandenen Lederhosenfraktion mit beginnendem Haarausfall und grauen Haaren.
