Ann and I thoroughly enjoyed watching your video! Steve just sat across the table and grumbled that you should have named the batch “Opal latte.” You guys are great! The chocolate opals will make pretty jewelry too!

Wow. The golf club chicken wing reminds me of the opening to the partridge family…little birds coming out of the eggs.

The gradient of the bands on the 'golf club' is just gorgeous!

I'm pretty sure a life straw couldn't handle the slurry 😂. Edit: That rock is most definitely a golf club!

Opals are soft so they need less time in the tumbler. Australian opals only need 3-5 days per stage for example or you’ll tumble them into nothing

Very beautiful chocolate opal rocks. Where did you find the chocolate opal rocks? They are very pretty before and after they are tumbled.

I’m using a Lortone 33B tumbler, and I get my grit from The Rock Shed. You can check out the links in the description for more equipment recommendations! If you go to my website moonriserocks.com and click on FAQs at the top there will be a lot more info there as well!

omg the moment the plate came into frame i literally yelled THOSE ARE DRY!?!?!?! MINE NEVER LOOK LIKE THAT! 😭😭 I swear I must be doing something wrong, is it because I keep doing batches of mixed rocks? I do have some that are the same maybe I should try them next lol

I love watching this process! Can you use any kind of rocks? Can they be rocks from my yard? Or do I have to buy the rocks?
I have the same tumbler, does yours get really hot? Bc after a couple of days mine get uncomfortable to touch hot. I am just concerned with burning up the motor.
