What a composition.. naushaad Saab nd shakeel saab were simply genius.. in tdys time I don't think even the biggest name in music industry cn replicate it... Wealth of classical knowledge is required to compose such a song . .. very sad it has only around 8 k views.. and tdy lungi dance nd po po song will get million views.. we HV somewhere lost the essence of real music just to get westernised

It is a great matter of pity that the story goes wrong. An erroneous story as well as script writing has spoiled the unparalleled works of all artistes, music composers, music directors, directors. Baiju Bawra was quite older than Miyan Tansen and he was a pious man, recluse, devoid of any earthly wanting. He was basically one dhrupadiya, and disciple of Haridas Swamy. Independently, as well as along with Nayak, another exponent, he composed many bandishes in dhrupad. He was also a court musician, however, used to lead a secluded life like sanyasi. So, there is the least chance of developing any animosity with Miyan Tansen and go for a competition on Khayal, the form of classical music still not that much preferred by maestros like Baiju ji. So, while writing the script the writer could have taken more care about the facts related to a historical truth.
