I remember selling Chevy trucks for my father’s company after 250K miles. We were lucky to get $500-1000 trade-in. They acted like the truck was radioactive with that mileage.

I had a 2001 Tundra Limited 4WD that was green like the one at 07:30. I regret selling it at 300k miles. I learned my lesson. Got a 2016 Pro and will never sell it. I've never had a problem with it. ..they're just great and reliable trucks.

I’ve got a 2000 Tundra, bought it as a temporary truck 8 years ago and it’s been such a great freaking truck I can’t get myself to sell it.

Thanks sooo much Mark for doing a video on this topic...it was very informative! It's awesome that the drive trains in the first and second gen Tundra's can go for many miles and be very reliable but what is very shocking and exciting is they still hold a very good resale value. Thank you Mark for another informative and Awesome video

I went to KBB and priced my 2001 Tacoma. Trade in value is still over 5k with 350k miles. Could sell it for around 7k. Crazy

A Toyota truck can have 1 million miles on it, and someone will still buy because it will be still reliable baby!!!!

Victor Sheppard is about to hit 1 million miles in a 2014 Toyota Tundra SR5 Double Cab with the 5.7-liter V-8... I have a 2002 regular cab long bed 4x4 4.7L SR5 with 190,000 miles, I have another 2002 with 190,000 miles - it's a TRD Off Road access cab 4x2 4.7L SR5 that my mom drives... I also have a 2007 regular cab short bed 4x2 5.7L SR5 with 315,000 miles. All 3 Tundra are well maintained rust free southern trucks.

I have a 17 tundra sr5 with the 4.6. Has 98,000 miles and the only thing that has needed to be replaced is the battery. Other than that, not one single problem. Do oil changes every 5k miles

I am so glad I bought a 2021 Tundra TRD Pro double cab and did not wait for the new Tundra. Even after a couple of years I just cannot get over how ugly that front end is.

Love your reviews! Excellent job on the channel! Real close to pulling the trigger on a gen II with the 5.7 but would much rather put the money into a 70-series Land Cruiser i.e. HZJ-79. Uncle Sam & its DOT are depriving U.S. here of the best trucks in the world!!!

I love your show I watch you almost every morning when you have a video on I totally agree with you the older tundra which I have two of them 217 and 209 the build right engine phenomenal good quality. I went to the dealer to see if I should buy the new one to 2024. I tell you this much I think inside interior is cheap Over priced and I would be very surprised if any of those new tundras will ever make it a half 1,000,000 miles. I hope they do. I looked at the interior on the tundra SR5 the front door. Interior is different than the back door. I thought it was a joke and you asking me for $60,000, somebody at Toyota is not thinking quality anymore like they used to. It’s so sad.

I one of the 1st tundras in my area in 2000 with 4.7 , I remember how much better they did in crash tests than the "big three " very well built .had a 2005 also. Then 2007 with 5.7 and now have a 2021,solid trucks that I use every day

Prices are Insane😬 Still a nice truck ,but not worth anywhere near $10,000😮
@Antares_451 Жыл бұрын
Wow. The prices for the new gen are still high.. 44k for a 22 with 98k miles. Yeah, i purchased my late model 2019 (didn't want the push to start) 1794 in May 2020 with 2k miles for 42799.00 out the door. Currently have 32k on my truck and doubt ill ever sell it. Previously only drove 4runners (95 and 96 limited, 2005 fully loaded limited with the V8) Currently, only the 96 limited remains but wish i never sold that 95 limited..

I agree that Price is obscene. I paid the same thing for my brand new 2021 tundra.

Mark I have a 2018 tundra limited TRD off-road. When should I have my transmission flushed I have about 59,000 miles on it. The dealer is telling me somewhere between 60 and 70,000. I should have it flushed. Thanks.

As much as you love Tundra’s, you should get a job at a Toyota dealership as a salesman, and specialize in truck sales. You are in the wrong kind of job position. Go to work for a Toyota dealer

My first Tundra is 2019 1794 4x4 CM. I dislike the push to start so I got one of the last Models made in December 2019.. I love the V8 but unfortunately, they'll never make a comeback.

Your talking about the old Tundra being Legendary. These new Tundras are no comparison to the old Tundras and deserve no praise until they earn it. I’m keeping my Gen 2 as long as possible.👍
