@@vxd oh :( damn. been looking for a while for something I can run my raw vocals through that allows me to match it to midi and also reduce pitch mod/drift/vibrato without taking a year and a half to do manually. the search continues

they are very different, little alterboy is more for harmonising and pitch shifting, so simple things, whereas melodyne is more for editing and more complex manipulation. I think little alterboy will work for you if you just want match to midi. reducing vibrato, melodyne is better.
