Why the snide comment about him winning in Covid year?,give him the credit he deserves,he was blistering that year.
@shandy6002Күн бұрын
maybe referring to having a big crowd behind/with him? Either way not a good question
@benrichards399Күн бұрын
He was referring to the crowd atmosphere tonight compared to the COVID year which had no crowd.

I appreciated it at the time as there was nothing to do/watch but having a world championship in Covid was ridiculous. Fake applause’s and a large venue with not a soul inside meant it could have been any floor tournament. I understand that it’s an exceptional achievement under normal circumstances but there’s an asterisk under that victory and the event as a whole. I just want to make it clear that I think Price is a brilliant player so it’s got nothing to do with personal views. For such a great competitor, I don’t think he will be completely satisfied until he wins the event under normal circumstances.

Let's be honest but anderson played rank rotten in that final but same time price was on fire that tournament.

Love Gezza, my fav player. If he could get his doubles, he could win so much easier. I couldn't bear to watch at the end, I left the room and he won!

Gerwyn Price would win everything if he was 50 or 60% on his doubles, its been the story for years
@andrewbell7579Күн бұрын
No he would not
@Koumpa12321 сағат бұрын
That would almost apply to every top player... No one plays 60% on his doubles consistently!

I've never seen a player struggle so much to get the job done. In charge so many times but missing so many doubles in key legs and letting Joe back in.
@bengilliam787723 сағат бұрын
Yeah it's kind of crazy to see what he's become, from a player who used to hit ton+ outs for fun and hardly ever missed an important double to someone who often struggles getting over the line. Don't get me wrong he still has a lot of bottle but there's been a decrease the last couple of years

He should stick to be emotional on stage because thats him, thats his spirit (rugby). He should stop behaving like a nice guy because the people want him to. Be yourself gerwyn youre a great Player!! Credit to cullen, 170 in that situation ..wow

Why mention gezzys world championship win during the covid year? He fu**ing won the damn thing regardless. That reporter was bang out of order. Give gezzy his respect
@1Rexas1Күн бұрын
You've misunderstood what the reporter was saying. In the covid year there wasn't a crowd, and that's what the reporter was getting at, how did it feel getting that win with that crowd? You really think Gezzy wouldn't have called him out if he thought the reporter was being a dick?
